Changes my perception of the grammy, I previously thought grammies were given to recognized serious musicians who had worldwide success and met some established criterias but i hell I don't even know who chris brown is.

Isn't he like a "feature artist" who does a bunch of rnb-remix shit with the likes of lil wayne and such?

Pretty sure The Beatles never won a Grammy. The Grammys have long been seen as (music) industry self-congratulation.    :-\

Yes probably so, like the oscars. But that he (Brown) was let in the circle jerk of smugness that all prestigous award shows can be, still was surprising to me. :-\

This guy is an entertainer, not a musician. Just like a great many of today's pop stars.

That he won a Grammy doesn't do the Grammy Award prestige any favours.

And beyond all this, the dude is a seriously LQI (Low Quality Individual). He's simple, classless and shouldn't be allowed to own or use sophisticated tools like cellphones, etc., or drive automobiles.
