On the negatives.
1. Women that don't understand the concept of letting someone work in with a piece of equipment.
2. 20 something year old trainers that look like crap interrupting your set to try get you to use them as your trainer.
3. Hundreds of plates left on the leg press by some delusional guy doing quarter range leg presses.
4. Guys wearing tap out type shirts mean mugging you if you look in their direction.
5. Members using three different pieces of equipment or sitting on one for 30 minutes.
On the positive.
1. Women were never in weight lifting gyms in the late 70's and early 80's. If you had two girls as members it was a lot. Now it seems to be over 50%.
2. Training early in the morning it's better than going to stripper bar to see all the hot moms working out.
3. Back in the day there were no cardio equipment. Now if you use the treadmills in the back you can watch the women in front of you bounce.
4. Most members go right to the machines where they can pull a pin and select a weight. The hard core lifting area is rarely crowded.
5. The squat rack is something you have to blow the dust off of before you use it so it's always available.
