(Newser) – President Obama has some unlikely new allies in his effort to get Mitt Romney to release his tax returns. Members of Romney's own party, from Haley Barbour to Michael Steele, are calling on the candidate for financial disclosure. "His personal finances, the way he does things, his record, are fair game," says Texas Rep. Pete Sessions. He calls it a "legitimate question," according to Talking Points Memo.

Has he been Commander-in-Chief for the last four years?  Unless he has, there's probably not anything on his tax returns that would cause me to forget the legislative shit-storm we've had with the current administration (for the last 12 years really).

They really only need two boxes and one name on the presidential ticket:
Are you voting for Obama?
Are you voting against Obama?

The republicans blew it...after the backlash of 2010, the grass-roots development of the tea party (hell, even the OWS anger was a sign that people wanted someone different/new), after Wisconsin, Wall-Street, Christie's rising fame for not bullshitting the facts, the lingering dislike of GWB and the neocon element of the GOP, the country was ready for a legit conservative leader.

With all of that ferver...with the conservative "powers that be" in the best situation they'll ever see for a true small-government conservative to run roughshod over the left....we fucking end up with Mitt Romney.
Even worst, they lucked out with that!  They tried to toss Bachmann at us....Newt Democratich almost won the ticket (I would have gladly voted for Newt because I think he's a very intelligent political mind...but he's no "don't tread on me" conservative)....and a "social" conservative that loves government intrusion as long as it's playing moral dictator was "this close" to winning the fucking nomination!

An entire movement (on both sides of the aisle) springs up against government intrusion....against the over-reaching government of the big-government progressives on one side and against the big-government "patriot act" neocons of the Bush years on the other side....and we almost ended up with fucking Santorum?
Fuck it, I'm not saying anything everyone doesn't already know.

No one gives a shit about Romney's time at Bain.
Things suck under Obama and no amount of "it would have been even WORSE" is going to make a stagnate economy or half a decade of high unemployment somehow palatable.
Y
