Romano's Response to all this....
"It's a simple matter of business. Budget cuts forced management to make
some tough decisions. Lee was unfortunately one of those decisions. Lee
has been in this industry for over 20 years and has always found a home.
Contracts always end. When they do people move on. Lee is a legend in
bodybuilding and I'm very sure someone will pick him up soon.
As for our show, I will still be doing a radio show for VPX. I don't feel good
calling it the SGBS. That was Lee and me and that, like everything else in
life, has a lifespan. While our haters are having a field day right now I can
pretty much promise you Lee and I will emerge somewhere else.
Anyone can run google analytics and see we had way more listeners than
the haters have forecast. Certainly enough to interest other parties and I've
been talking to them.
As far as the VPX show goes, we still own Power Hit Radio. I haven't decided
completely, but that is probably the show I will do myself with a guest. Just
remember, getting your info from Singerman and Avidan is like asking them
for advice on building your legs. Sit tight. This isn't a murder case. Things
will happen in their own time and once again the haters can have their radio
shows back (so they can say they don't listen to it. Lol)."
