The best rock/pop song of the 80s
« on: September 08, 2012, 03:16:21 AM »
I know I am somewhat biased being a huge Def Leppard fan and all but this song has everything. When the guys in the band get asked in interviews what their favourite song is by themselves the song that comes up time and time again is this one. I became a Lep fan for life after hearing it for the first time on a walkman during class in 1994. I was simply blown away by it.

So here it is, the song written about Def Leppard's childhood and their influences.

Giving credit where it's due, Joe Elliott has admitted in several interviews that this is what inspired the tribal drum beat.

Your Def Leppard obsession is very disturbing.  I mean everyone has their favorite band and shit but I picture you beating off in the car if they come on the radio...then you, in turn, cum on the radio shortly after.

Of course who am I to talk.  I have a Zeppelin Swan Song tattoo.  :-\
