This guy is an absolute cretin. He manages to mix up being a DJ with being a Producer, and somehow throws Hip Hop/Turntablism in there with it. He clearly has a preconceived notion of the way music should be made and played, not realizing that music evolves through experimentation.

I'd make the dumb fuck listen to "Endtroducing...." by DJ Shadow whilst under the milky way on an isolated beach, the first record to be made purely out of samples and then see what that ku nt has to say when he realizes it is something of sheer beauty.

 Pretty much! A Dj is one guy getting paid to play numerous song of any genre at any time. No excuses that a band member doesn't know a song or bs excuse (which us musicians do in order to not play the song unless a large tip is involved!).

Pay one guy versus 3+ musicians...much more bang for your buck. And this is coming from a profession musician since he was 14. Yet I will always hate dj's for other reasons.
