You're giving him too much credit. He also advertises on Lift-Ticket's fitness site, or gets space; he doesn't own FD. I highly doubt he has to pay, since Dad and he let LT exist in the NPC. That being said, he gets his salary and publishing for NPC mag, which goes out once a year, is listed at $1M to produce, but no one really sees it. He also gets up to 50% management stuff and makes money from his PA studio.
The bottom line is he is exist because of Dad. I know Ron don't like it, but it's how the game is played.
In the end it's pretty much how all the family NPOs work over at Charity Navigator. That's why NPC.org is an 1-star charity.
