Thousands Protest Anti-Islam Video at Google London

London is the latest city to face major protests over an anti-Islam video, with thousands gathering in front of Google's local offices to demand the clip be removed from YouTube. While a Muslim activist group said 10,000 were in attendance, police said the figure was closer to 3,000, the Telegraph reports. "This is not freedom of expression; there is a limit for that. This insult of the Prophet will not be allowed," said one protester.

Calling for civility, a speaker said that "terrorism is not just people who kill human bodies, but who kill human feelings as well. The makers of this film have terrorized 1.6 billion people." Others called for a union of faiths in "an age of mockery." "It’s always the Muslims, but unfortunately we’re having to come out. For too long the Christian community (has) had to accept it," said a demonstrator. "We can no longer just stand by... We are doing this on behalf of everyone." A YouTube rep said the video "is clearly within our guidelines and so will stay on YouTube."

LOL, Google is a staunch defender of the first amendment, ...except when they want access to the Chinese markets, ...then Google bends over backwards catering to the dictates & demands of the Chinese government, blocking sites, and handing over names of Chinese bloggers who dare to speak about democracy.

I wasn't referring to hacked emails, but rather Google turning over names & IP addresses for Chinese citizens to the government.
