Is winning a Senate seat worth $100 MILLION*?
« on: November 05, 2012, 11:27:45 AM »
* estimates have varied between 90-110M.

Linda McMahon has spent $100M* combined in 2008 and 2012 in the hopes winning a Senate seat.  I can't imagine anyone with a normal ego and sense of self security would ever spend that much money on trying to become a Senator.

 ???

Has there ever been anyone to spend more than that (and still lose)?

Good for her. Christopher Murphy is a scumbag career politician who has no business being a senator.
