How do you take care of all that spine? I’d eat in in a survival situation perhaps but not because it’s loitering
It's a pain in the ass. Some guys just eat around the bones (
). Some simmer the meat till it's soft, then spend a lot of time cutting the spine out and plucking the bones with a needle nose pliers. The quickest way is to simmer it, then scrape it with a fork or knife or similar. The meat bits are then mixed with mayo and used like tuna or as a filing for other things.
