Haha , ya had me for a second. I thought you meant a real republican. Like raising the tax on the.wealthy will make a difference. I heard these idiots wanted to raise the rate.to 90% likein the 50's. The problem with that is, it never happened. Another liberal lie and misnomer.

You do know who Joe Scarborough is?

Like most freshmen Republicans elected during the 1994 Republican takeover of the House led by Newt Gingrich, Scarborough was regarded as a reliable conservative. He was a part of a small group of Republican congressmen the National Journal said possessed a surprising amount of power given their youth and lack of experience in Congress. He received a 95 percent lifetime rating from the American Conservative Union.[9] He signed the Contract with America. Scarborough served on the Armed Services, Judiciary, Government Reform, and Education committees. In 1998, he was named Chairman of the Civil Service Committee.

I don't know where you got your information from, but President Obama wants to raise the rates to Clinton era levels.

Short summary of his plan:

Furthermore,

Obama wants to take a similar approach to what Bill Clinton did in 1993 when he pushed through the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993.

The results of this bill was 4 straight years of federal surplus.
