Conn. school shooting fund
« on: December 14, 2012, 11:21:04 AM »
Instead of bagging on each other and looking at oiled up men, let's do something decent. I propose collecting some money and sending it to a charity for the kids over there.

I'm serious, we can send to one person we all trust (whoever that may be) and do it. Ill start with a 200$ donation and will help anyway I can.

What say you getbig?

Of course your government could shed off one billion from their own killing budget and give it to families of the victims if they see it important.
Better yet, cut off another and give it to organizations promoting mental care for sick people.

Not seeing this happening though, they see the killing of foreigners as the priority instead  ::)

Remember when Paul Bremer lost/misplaced $8-9 billion in cash* in Iraq?  And no one was fired or held accountable for it?  Too bad we don’t have some of that money now.  We could donate it to the shooting fund.

*"In 2004, the Bush administration flew twenty billion dollars of shrink-wrapped
cash into Iraq on pallets. Now the bulk of that money has disappeared. The funds
flown into the war zone were made up of surplus from the UN's oil-for-food
program, as well as money from sales of Iraqi oil and seized Iraqi assets.
Recent estimates had the amount of missing money at about $6.6 billion, but
according to Al Jazeera, Iraqi Parliament Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi says the
figure is closer to three times that amount."

Oh I know what happened.  Lots of military guys i've seen driving around in Escalades and Range Rovers living in 700k-1 millions dollar homes.  You know where that money came from.

Trust me, there is going to be enough money flooding into funds for victims of this shooting.    These kinds of things always get huge fund support for the victims.
