of course not, but people do it all the time. Thing is, if the officer can "justify" probable cause, then your effed...
And if you do have ish (drugs, weapons, para, etc), then you are effed, because it justifies them.
Problem is, the majority of people are stupid, and do and say all sorts of things to get themselves hemmed up.
"It's my boyfriend's car and I 'borrowed' it"? So, that could mean you stole it.
Regardless, it doesn't justify what the officer did...
