Does France love Moslems?

I'm reading a book right now about Islam in Europe, and it keeps referring to France's immigration policies among other countries as well, and it seems they have the biggest problem with the immigrants crime wise, but that they are welcome to them destroying their country. Not that it is all middle eastern and north african Moslems, some Somalis also from what I'm reading, but they seem to be more tolerant of it, even as these immigrants are setting up dual societies in their country. What gives? Any truth to this, or is the view skewed by the author?

That's the exact reason Uberman has given for leaving France for Canada.

Basically said France welcomes this immigrants with open arms and allows them to set up little sharia law areas inside the cities, where they force out the regular law abiding French, and then proceed to push their wants and desires on a French government that refuses to do anything about it, they go so far as to say that they refuse to follow French law and that the only law is Allah's law.

Oh yeah... France has demonstrated such degrees of love, tolerance, and acceptance towards Islam, ...they've even gone so far as to pass legislation specifically targeting Islamic cultural habits, traditions, clothing, even the dimensions of religious edifices. lol. Good thing there's no French animosity towards Islam there.  

Infact, the only other group that I can think of that loves Muslims even more, are the right wing Zionists in the Knesset. They really, really love Muslims.
