An NYPD sergeant with 15 years on the force was arrested Monday and charged in connection with having child pornography on his computer, police sources said. Alberto Randazzo, 36, was charged with use of a child in a sexual performance, promoting sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child, police said. Cops found the child porn on a computer belonging to Randazzo, but it was unclear whether it was a personal computer or one belonging to the police department. Police sources said investigators have no evidence the sergeant had physical contact with a child. Randazzo, who lives in Queens, joined the NYPD in 1998. He has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the criminal proceeding brought against him.

Nope former nypd cop here...think the bastard should fry..the rank and file cops will treat him like dirt. After he's back at work( will be suspended for 1 month) then come back to light duty( no gun or badge)( this is civil service law can only suspend 1 month till criminally convicted).. The cops will make his life a living he'll so much he will probably be transferred to the rat( internal affairs)squad....criminal case could take up to 2 years. Once found guilty he will be fired. One good thing is while under this threat he can't retire early to get his pension..that is history
