I completely agree with your assessment of the situation. Medical studies* have shown that individuals with exceptional height, as in the likes of basketball players, due in fact require more sleep in order to properly regenerate, heal and restore optimum cellular function.

tall people take up more space and there extremeties multiply this effect many fold, more surface area for gravity and potential of hydrogen come into play.
its not simple math but "empty space" is divided at a higher rate with tall people this divsion is multiplied by the extemeties as well.
so any overall workload or effect is much greater with a tall person
like if a tall guy benches 300 pounds he has to move that bar about 3 feet off of his chest, a shorter man only has to move it 2 feet thats roughly 33% more work the tall man i doing!
it just goes to show you can never ever trust anyone under 6feet tall they simply dont have a clue what its like to be in your shoes
