Chris Kelly, of rap duo Kris Kross, dies in Ga.
Associated PressAssociated Press – 47 minutes ago

Authorities in Georgia say Chris Kelly, a member of the '90s rap duo Kris Kross, has died in Atlanta.

Investigator Betty Honey of the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office said the 34-year-old Kelley was pronounced dead around 5 p.m. Wednesday at the south campus of the Atlanta Medical Center.

Honey said authorities are unsure of Kelly's cause of death and that an autopsy has yet to be performed.

Kelly, known as "Mac Daddy" performed alongside Chris Smith, known as "Daddy Mac," in the early and mid-'90s. The duo might be best remembered for the song "Jump" from their 1992 debut album, "Totally Krossed Out."

I know he had some sort of illness or maybe that was the lightskin one...i wasnt big on them but I do remember these cats from the 90s

Geez! way to young to die! Well he did live a good life. sometimes it is not bad to die young as long as you have lived a good life. The guy had it good for awhile traveling,making alot of money, getting alot of women, driving luxury cars,living large what else do you want from life? He crammed a full life-time of good times in those 34 years. Getting old is just not for some people. It would be way worse if he was just some struggling kid from the ghetto who never got out and did nothing with his life. This kid had a great life.

i remember them preforming live in the Auditorium at my Jr. High school for a "SPECIAL ASSEMBLY" this was during their PEAK Too , wonder how much it cost the school to have them perform for us during class

Yep, I remember rocking my clothes backwards for 1 day in school...having bib overalls and needing to go to the bathroom made me quit that by lunchtime.

They were blazing for us youngsters at the time, and their song with Supacat was good as well.
