Al-Awlaki could have voluntarily made himself available to talk with US authorities and could have avoided being killed and his son would still be alive today today.   Bad choices on his part.  He was a member of al-Qaeda and called for jihad agains the US
He was involved with the Fort Hood shooter and the underwear bomber and was The Yemeni government began trying him in absentia in November 2010, for plotting to kill foreigners and being a member of al-Qaeda. A Yemeni judge ordered that he be captured "dead or alive.    What are we supposed to do.  Sit around and wait for this guy to have a successful terrorist attack (and he actually did given the Fort Hood shooting).   This guy got exactly what was coming to him and how 333 or anyone can defend this guy is beyond me.
