How do those May job numbers look like?
« on: June 07, 2013, 09:56:30 AM »
Did the UE rate go down? Are more people working at full time jobs rather than part-time at KFC?

Stocks keep going up. What did that do for the economy?

175k jobs. A disappointing number seeing that it takes 240k+ break even with new entrants into the workforce via college, age etc. Aprils number was revised to 139K down from the initial 165K.

U3 - 7.6% up from 7.5%

U6 - 13.8% down from 13.9%

LFP - 63.4 up from 63.3%

105k of the 175k jobs created were in leisure/hospitality, temp work, and retail.....i.e. low wage, no benefit burger flippers.

Bad.
