It's not a great point at all. Anybody who loses massive amounts of weight has clearly changed a shitload of their destructive behaviour and they deserve to be congratulated because most people struggle to change up anything after becoming an adult. It's the change that is impressive. It is very difficult to change things that you have historically fucked up on.
People who go to the gym regularly have willpower that most of the general population do not have. As such, we tend to see peoples struggles in this department as weak - but the reality is, it's just a trivial thing for us to do. We're not equalling their (the fat cnuts who lose massive weight) effort by turning up to the gym - we just like it and it isn't hard.
It's all very good to take a hard line on idiots who get super fat - but if you actually have ever been around these people, you'd know that it's only possible to understand their struggles by transposing it to something YOU struggle with, rather than trying to draw parallels with something you find easy (turning up to the gym, eating right).
Fuck me, I'm getting old. 5 years ago, I'd have just piled in with the rest of you.
Ah fuck em, they're stupid
