how do you fire the founder? Isnt he the owner? who fires the owner? Its his company right? so how come he only owns 3.5% of the shares?

he stepped down from the ceo role a few years ago

he had sold off most of his ownership piece when the company went public, that's why such a small percentage of shares

Zimmer earned nearly $2 million last year in pay, bonuses and other compensation. Men's Wearhouse will owe Zimmer $250,000 annually for four years under a licensing deal for his image in advertising and marketing efforts, according to the proxy.

nope it's the shareholders company now, and the board works in their best interest  ::).  fire a guy, who just guided the company to a record year in sales.  he'll be back in 5 yrs with a goup buying the company back.  michael dell just moved back into his dell office after the board and new ceo turned the company to shit.

It was a bitch move for sure.  They even postponed the shareholders' meeting which was to take place...even more of a bitch move.

its called the american way, nobody cares who owns, who founded, or who built what...........all the twinks conspire together and get shit the way they want it, while the founder is ass out............true story..........thats how its done in this world, sad to say but yup true.
