No.  What I do isn't valuable enough to justify a remote controlled drone, and it couldn't do it without a human controller since reason isn't possible without sentience.  I don't believe AI will ever be more than lots of programmed responses.

You are right in a sense that software can learn autonomously and doing that it essentially programs itself.

Baxter, easy to train robot that at the moment costs only 22,000 dollars and the price will drop fast.
