The total revenue in just advertisements is about 800k a year from my own estimate....Yes, very hard to believe but its true.....$4,500 dollars minimum a month just for banners and radio mentions...even more for sponsored events like the Bro's Vs Pros and the RX Muscle Classic. The Major sponsors were paying 10-12k a month for advertising. There's a lot of money floating around. Don't forget about Species Nutrition.....it already sold well but with the leverage from RX Muscle, it sold even better.
Surprisingly enough, I did contribute slightly to the revenue of RX Muscle by advising Dave to post all of his videos, radio shows, and events to Youtube along with signing up for their profit sharing click program so that they can could get residual revenue along with increasing their PageRank and to drive more traffic to the site
That's the one negative about RX Muscle...everybody wants in so bad that they are willing to stab each other in the back to get in the "inner circle". That's why AVBG went back to RX Muscle....because he's hoping to whore his ass out in hopes of moving into the inner circle of things....Waylon from SNAC is over there groveling for Aaron's job....kind of pathetic if you ask me.
Seriously, what you are writing is laughable. With more that 1,000 videos online, they only have a little less than 10 million views and 9.7k subscribers. SCORE!!
That translates to MAYBE a couple thousand bucks over the years in Youtube ad revenue. Nothing to brag about.
And you told them to sign up for the profit sharing and increase their pagerank? Youtube videos pass no pagerank whatsoever. The links on Youtube videos are all nofollow. Rx has a pagerank of...3 our of 10...HORRIBLE.
And their Alexa rank sucks bigtime. It's always been in the low 50k range, AGAIN, nothing to brag about. Heck, there are European bodybuilding sites (German, UK, etc.) that outrank rx and run circles around rx's traffic. Not to mention their forums that are practically a ghost town (compared to others).
WHOEVER is paying $4,500/month as you say for banners (one of the least clicked form of advertising online) is being taken for a ride. 10-12k a month for a banner..

Do these advertisers know anything about ROI from internet traffic? Do they know anything about EPC?
I feel really bad for the companies that pay this kind of money. What a waste.
