I think the original goal of Men's Physique was to reward more achievable beach physiques that chicks will dig. Year by year the physique judges seem to be rewarding bigger and bigger guys. Dudes like this will be taking over the class unless the judges back up and re-evaluate what the class is all about. I respect his bouncing back from major surgery, but this guy is just a PED pincushion who lowered the dose to win an easier show than the bodybuilding class he couldn't place in.

I think the mistake the judges are making is going back to selecting conditioning over symmetry and proportionality.  Grainy skin should be a deduction, not rewarded

I was actually thinking the same thing as this thread title after being at the Dexter Classic a few weeks ago.  The physique dudes were some big fellas, make no mistake. The division has put on a LOT of size since it was first introduced. Naturals no longer have a chance in it. That and I saw ab implants in person for the first time. That was weird seeing a guys abs stick out further than his chest while standing. Things were HUGE. Saw the cat stretch out and you could see his actual abs underneath the implants. Was weird as hell.
