Pills - how can you tell which is which?

Mods, feel free to move this once the question is answered. I just picked up a piece of antique furniture from a deceased family friend, who was a druggie, and there are pills on this thing(its an old bar).  Two of them that look like they had been crushed up and snorted have a "B01" on one side, and "LL" on the other. They are blue and are octagon shaped. Any ideas?
