Growth Spurt (Height)

Has anyone here had a growth spurt of 5 inches of more in a short period of time?

I went from 5'8 at the end of 8th grade to 6'2 by the start of 9th grade.
   6 inches during one summer. My knees kept popping and cracking for near a year and, I have stretch marks around my waist and knees from the rapid growth.

nope! not me dude! i'm only 5'6. it sucks being short sometimes.  consider yourself blessed to be that tall and in the 9th grade. how much do you weigh bro? anyway, look at it this way...by the time you are like 15 or 16, you'll have a whole mess of chicks after you, cause you'll have put on some muscle size onto that 6'2 frame of yours, cause your testosterone and growth hormones will be in overdrive!  you'll be the "big man on campus", and everybody will envy you! you'll have everyone intimidated by your size and strength! i think it's cool!  ;)

   Let me clarify,
      It has been over 20 years since I was in the 9th grade. I did very well in powerlifting and easily put size on back in those days. I had a lot of fun, I am no whining bitch as Euro-fag stated. I am probably older than 90 percent of folks here on the board.
   So body88 you have no clue..................no w what where you saying about the fluid in my dad's sack. I wouldn't be surprised if the fluid in my dad's sack once rolled from the crack of your mamma's ass and down her leg.

   High school was fun. I powerlifted a lot throughout it. I had no problems from anyone in high school. that is to say.........I had one once. I was a freshman and had a senior push me away from a drinking fountain. He said it was for seniors only. I said tough shit and started to drink from it again. He pushed me again and said " have you ever had your ass kicked by a senior?" I said no................"    Have you ever had your ass kicked by a freshman" He started for me and I grabbed him and flipped him to the floor. He got up tried it again, I knocked the snot out of him with one hard punch square to the nose. He grabbed his nose blood poured from it and ran away with his friends. The word soon got out that I was no push over.
    As for chicks I dated girls from other high schools cause they where easy and, I did not have to see them everyday.
