And the blindfold was removed from my eyes, at the secret location I was taken to. And there it was in all its glory: The biceps supinator machine. Besides the machine was its old creator, dressed in an Armani suit which looked to be a little tight around the belly. I have never again seen such an engineering marvel as that machine.

"So I take the idea to my guy at Cybex, and he runs it up to the top, and they all come down to look at it. The head engineer looks at it for 10 seconds, and says "All that work, and all it does is supinate biceps? We've had a better, cheaper design for years, they're called dumbbells".

It was that day that I learned never to trust the ideas of an Australian."

"So one day, I get a call from Weider productions, and they tell me to come down the next day for a film shoot. So I go down there, and it's dark, and they've got a squat rack set up, and just below it the biggest, blackest fist shaped dildo you ever saw. I look at Joe, and I say "you've got to be kidding right?", and I high tailed it out of there.

The next day I sign with Vince, and the WBF is born."

My CEO, Ken Sprague, at the corporate office told me, ‘If you don’t leave, I’m going to f*** you,’” Platz  says, laughing embarrassingly.

His neighbor was the one who created Starbucks and asked him to invest in the first store. Tom Platz said no, he had a thigh workout to do.
