It is all about what you like to sport, screw omegas! I would take a Gucci gold watch with the diamond dial over a Omega anyday. every watch loses value after it leaves the store. Watches are about getting the watch you want not a watch that carrys value. never sell a watch you bought. Just save up and buy a new one but always save your gucci. If omega is something you wanted more you should of bought the omega not the gucci. Screw Omega I would of kept the gucci. You probably got a cheap gucci not one of the diamond dial gold guccis those were 1998-99 bling bling era. when you buy your ice be careful your going to have to spend a good chunk of cash don;t be cheap and try to save a dollar when buying any jewelry and always know what you want, also always buy it from a retailer that gives you a receipt not some hustler who gives you a good trade for some Gear. just sell the gear and pay cash for your jewelry. alot of people get their jewelry from guys who get desperate and trade their jewels for drugs or steroids. tell them to fuck-off and buy your jewelry with your own cash and get what you want not what is a good deal. I have no idea who would take a omega over a gucci. who gives a shit about the value. everybody into fshion knows Gucci not anybody knows what the fuck omega is. just me opinion more people will be jealous over the gucci over the Omega as long as it is a top notch Gucci.
watches are a whole different ballgame.
if you buy a Gucci, you may as well be buying a fossil.
when you buy a watch, a swiss automatic, you're buying quality. watches aren't about fashion. serious watch collectors will always scoff at a watch with diamonds. (since the 'diamonds' in the watch face are usuaully just chips at 1/20ct they're not worth anything anyways).
when you spend 3k on an omega, zenith, panerai (well, panerai's gonna run you $6k+), tag, IWC, Glaschultte(sp? lol), A. Lang shone, Bell & Ross, ect.... that watch is gonna be worth the same $3k you paid for it next year, and the year after, and 5 years after that.... you spend $3k on Gucci (I dunno what Gucci cost's $3k), there's no way in hell you're gonna get more than $1k for it next week or next year (and it's probably gonna be a quartz, not automatic).
moral of the story... don't waste a $1k+ on a watch that's not a swiss automatic.
