Not going to work with the deep sebaceous glands on the back & shoulders. Anabolics can turn these into the typical monster cysts that some guys get via the DHT conversion that makes the glands go haywire. If it gets really bad, accutane is about the only thing that works. Antibiotics, scrubbing, and special shampoos won't make a dent in a lot of cases.

I have really oily skin, but I also have the good fortune to have large pores, so acne hasn't been a problem. Although I have used steroids in the past and am currently on HRT, the dosages have been and are modest. Perhaps this is why there has been no change in my skin. Although I am an old man and always thought pimples were a condition found in youths, I still get the occasional pimple. However, these are a far cry from the cysts I've seen on some folks.

I was on Accutane in college and although I got some crazy sides after a few months I was all clear. They did blood work before I started and I think monthly during treatment to check liver and kidney function. 

I tolerated it well and it worked.

Some guys can take boatloads of orals and get no skin effects at all, others can simply look at a 200ml pin of HRT Test Cypionate and feel the glands in their back start acting up.

Accutane works wonders but is one of the roughest drugs you can take. At the minimum, be prepared to have sun ultra sensitivity, constantly sore joints, and you will always have to carry around a tube of vasoline for the inside your nostrils to prevent the dryness from giving you a full-time bloody nose. Liver values will shoot through the roof too, making a perfect addition for an already toxic stack of oral steroids. Getbigger drug for sure.

I have never had Acne.
