The new IPF single ply squat record being made (#1047)  -

.

Malanichev fires back with a casual #970 x 3 raw, three weeks out of competition -

.

(rivaled only by Karwoski's #1000 x 2 in the freaky realm -
).

and finally Dan Green records in the #242 with #2210 -

That's all well and good, but how about having these guys peel and hit a couple mandatories?

Some impressive powerlifting. The 1047 squat was actually deep by powerlifting standards.

Green's  squat was high and his bench was absolutely terrible.

Manlanichev's triple with 970 was absolutely crazy. :o  But it's odd, it only looks like 775 or 875 on the bar. All that empty space, but I can't count the plates.

Christensen's 475 kg squat was nice.

Rivaled? Karwoski was in a squat suit. Malanichev BURIED 970 x3 RAW. No rival whatsoever....No contest.

Malanichev is the strongest squatter that's ever lived with his raw 992 in comp. Robert Wilkerson is laughable and so is his 1,000lb 1/8 squat, and his bouncey half rep benching. No worry though that fraud will have his fake ass record smashed by Malan in 3 weeks.

Karwoski's was an old early 90's single ply that had been broken in. His #1000 x 2 is comparable to, but, no not better than Malanichev's #970 x 3.

Yes and those suits regularly gave guys 100+ lbs on their squats.

Forgot these 2 btw.

yes, great lift compared to what goes on these days.   but, judging by your handle i'm sure you remember that only beats 1984 fred hatfield by 40 lbs.
