I don't believe anyone ever made a conscious decision to develop economy, technology etc. with the idea of attempting to 'forget' we're animals.  Of course we're animals, but..Believe it or not, humans, while at their essence and in absence of abundance are motivated primarily by self preservation...We are in fact special, we are empathetic...we want to be empathetic, we want to be kind, we can think, we can create, we can work toward a better world.  You are correct that taking away all our innovations, modern infrastructure...people would do things even the most bestial of animals would not to survive.  On this blessed planet however, that is currently not necessary and let's just enjoy it, make the world and people the best they can be. Not dwell on the fact that we are animals and have basic needs to be satisfied in order for civilization to exist.

LOL...grow up...

All lifeforms, vegetal or animal, aim at self preservation, problem is that self preservation is always done at the expense of another life form's self preservation. There s nothing pure and innocent in life. Just people pretending, lying, and bullshiting others in order to better dominate them. You dont survive without killing others. Life isnt designed that way. It is designed in a way that every win means someone else is losing. You have a very poor understanding of what life is truly about intrinsically.

My 25 years of life on this earth confirm yet at the same time very much refute your assertions.  There is a middle ground bro, believe it or not. There are in fact people who are genuinely good, want to be good, who would commit suicide before harming others. If you spoke with me at certain points in my life, who knows.  I might completely agree with you. As the religious person you claim to be, I am surprised at your opinions.  My comments were not unreasonable or delusional, I'd say I was quite realistic in regards to human nature.  Why not strive toward a goal of abundance for all human kind, on this planet which is entirely realistic..We then can work toward evolving beyond what we are.  I'm all about proactiveness, rather than accepting failure.  Look at all we have accomplished in just the past 100 years. As intelligent beings, we actually can make that conscious effort unlike all other 'animals'.

I love uberman too.  His posts make me sound like Tony Robbins.  A fellow traveler through the depths of depression.  He is definitely in the pointman position. :D

Before the apocalypse and extinction of man, there will be this:

Quote
After the rich elites have taken everything that is not tied down, they will drop a war on our heads while they skip out of town. You won't have time to form the lynch mobs if you are playing duck and cover to survive . When we find ourselves broke, starving  and tired of war, we will cave into their new scheme both monetary and societal. If that is world government and a world cryptocurrency then you will agree to their plan just to return to some sort of normalcy. We will beg for it and they know that. And so it begins another ponzi with new generations of slaves to keep them in the best of everything the world has to offer. They get the best and you get the scraps.
