My PhD will be in Health Education from the school of Public Health. Also, welcome to California, I live in the Palm Springs area but have lived in NoCal before (I prefer SoCal but its all good). Politics are terrible here, just disregard that noise. Welcome and congrats.

Depends where you live.  Heading into SJ it's fucking horrible in the mornings.  The freeway infrastructure up there is horrible.  Little homes are shitty and expensive.  Every time there is an IPO a bunch of shits overpay on crappy homes.
