Ever send out a mass email then realize you made a mistake?
« on: December 12, 2013, 08:32:01 AM »
It fucking drives me nuts when I send out a large group email at work and read it over and over to ensure I didn't mispell something or use poor grammar then send it out and then a few minutes later take a look and realize I made stupid mistakes that spell check didn't pick out.  Like using their instead of there or pluralizing a word when it should have been.  Oh well.  I wasn't going to write Beethoven's ninth anyways

Yes I have.

I learned with time that it's both easier and better to always keep you messages short no matter what. Short simple sentences.

Long emails do not get read properly either.

If you must write a long text or instruction, make it a document and put it in a central place or attach it.
