REVIEW: ETS from At Large Nutrition
« on: January 19, 2006, 05:49:19 AM »
I decided to try ETS from At Large Nutrition.

ETS is short for Extreme Training Support, and is a supplement from At Large Nutrition which claims to help the recovery and such. Check out At Large's website for more info on the product.

The active ingredients are something called Microlactin, Zinc, Magnesium and Vitamin C.

I've used it for little over a week, and my last few workouts have been real good. At the time of starting using the ETS, I showed symptoms of overtraining, felt tired and weak.

I seriously doubt that ETS is the whole reason to why I managed to get out of the funk, but I like the way it has helped me.

I won't recommend others to use ETS, but I will say this:

It works for me, and it is the best supplement I've tried along with creatine. I get better sleep, and feel recovered coming into workouts. Especially the part about getting good sleep is very nice. I've tried ZMA products in the past, didn't get the same effect from them, perhaps some placebo from the ETS?

A note: If you live within the EU, chances are there you may have to pay a big sum to the customs to get your package. I ended up paying $40 to the Swedish customs. Most of you lucky fcuks live in the USA and don't have to worry about that shit. >:( ;D

I'm trying out the Thermocin too, a fatburner from At Large. First impression is very good. But will have to wait a few more weeks to be able to give a good review of it.

What I like about it is that the stuff comes is dosaged in three pills per serving, several other companies have stronger dosages, which makes it hard to for those interested to make up their own medication layout.

Do they put the actualcash value on the shipment?  I ask because sometimes companies put much less so they don't charge you duty

ETS is one of our best selling products for the simple reason it works.  We don't have huge ad budgets to create hype about b.s. products like some other companies we rely primarily on word of mouth and testimonials.

Sorry about the customs Zack and thank you for your opinion.

If anyone wishes to read other testimonials about ETS you can do a search on the following sites:

Everyone knows I don't like Chris Mason but here's my opinion of things

1.  ETS should be marketed as a ZMA product rather than one that fights joint pain.  I simply do not believe in microlactin products.

2.  Thermocin is problably a good product for burning fat.  The reason I know of this is not because I've never taken the product but because my flagship fat burner product Genidrine Thermo Stack has practically the same ingredients.

Thermocin

The protein powder are ok and the suppliers that make his product are anal on quality.

Honestly, if I didn't hate Chris Mason I would problably welcome some of the products in my store.

Reason I won't recommend it, is because I have only my own experience to base it on, and there could be placebo effect and such.

Creatine has numerous studies showing it to be effective, to give you an example. Recommending creatine is no biggie then. But recommending something to others that isn't really proved, that isn't something that I will do.

I like the product a lot though. My recovery seems to take shorter time. Also, I doubt I had any defiency of zinc and magnesium, so how those two ingredients are helping me, is beyond my comprehension, to be honest.

I've had some good progress whil on ETS, tried out sumo deadlift today for the first time ever, bodyweight 199 lbs. Pulled 573 lbs, only 11 lbs under my PB which was done in training 4 years ago.

Hopefully will be able to pull the big 6-0 in two weeks.

I've bounced back from being overtrained, and getting into real good performances, and it was during the time when I started to supplement with ETS.

But the big thing is: I was barely able to pull 505 lbs in the regular deadlift 2 weeks ago.

I'm still sceptical. It's along the lines of: Can it really be this good? But as long as it works for me.
