Actually, I have had quite a few gay men hit on me in my time.  Many Many years ago I was out with my girlfriend and a mate of mine, and a gay guy come up and hit on me, my friend who was an extreme homophobe threatened to hit the guy and I had to step in to break it up, it was an awkward experience to say the least.
