According to Wikipedia, gum Arabic (from the acacia tree) is used by Arab populations to make a gelato like dessert. Wiki also says that mastic (from the Greek mastic tree, mastic is also called Arabic gum) is used to make ice creams in Lebanon.

I don't know what gum Arabic from the acacia tree tastes like, but mastic tastes like pine trees

Nothing beats homemade vanilla ice cream. It's on another level. As far as store brought stuff. I'd go Hagen Das, Ben and Jerry's if I want some wild stuff. I like Thrifty's ice cream. They've been putting it in gas stations.

The Arabs generally use...gum Arabic. I'm not sure which I had, though. Perhaps it varies depending upon location and availability.

I had that coldstone large coffee thing once.   a bunch of coffee beans and other things smashed up in ice cream.

dude, like 25 minutes later... i'm dirving home... start sweating like crazy as all the caffeine hits me.  I've tried ECA, and it was nothing compared to this rush.  I have no idea the caff content, but it was high.

Since Warren Buffet has had his hands in Dairy Queen ice cream, many people have noticed more pronounced  inflammation after eating any ice cream from DQ. Sinus's get real bad and many women complain of yeast build up...Some CT sites go even further and say WBuffet along with Bill Gates are part of the population control agenda and are using their money for things that get people sick and cause birth defects etc.
