would have liked the movie had they gotten someone better for the casey aflack part , get someone who looks the part for christ sakes.

How ridiculous was that? I honestly thought that in every scene he was in.

Not getting the Casey hate at all. I think the guy has been great in everything, genius at times. I liked his part, unhinged and scrappy, like Pitt in Snatch. He wasn't pretending to be a heavyweight champ or anything.

Wow!! What a raw, gritty, hardcore movie. Reminiscent of The Deer Hunter. Some very solid performances there.

Been a huge fan of Christian Bale (no homo) ever since American Psycho. He really doesn't disappoint. One solid performance after another.

Other movies I recommend are "The Machinist" and "The Fighter".

it's alright nothing amazing. simular plot as alot of other movies.

I lasted about 30 mins. It seemed a bit cliche; economically deprived shit hole town, good brother working hard in some factory, feckless brother getting in trouble, soldier coming back from war all fucked up... it was like some shit Bruce Springsteen song.
