lets say you are a beleiver

if you are christian you cannot say with 100 percent certainty that god is a straight forward god , a non bullshitter god. because

because that would imply every passage in the bible has serious meaningful meaning, everlasting TIMELESS MEANING, since the bible after all 'im guessing' is supposed to be the guide for all human lives?

. but when i read the bible, it will tell some stories scatterd along with some useful meaning here and there

but the stories themselfs are just like any other stories and arent really "teaching" anything . Then if we arent learning anything from these stories then what is the point? if they are just stories. why does the bible include long stories rather than just stick to the moral points only if it wants to "teach" us things?

most of these stories seem useless in terms of learning new tactics for life. why wouldnt god want to give us new tactics in the bible, or is he a trolling , joking god and doesnt want to teach us but instead confuse us??

thus if its seemingly useless then it must be a "code' since a christian cant confirm every passsage has a useful meaning. it could all be just coded after all? another possiblity, all options must be explored, we have alot of time in this life after all

Falcon, most stories/fables in the bible are littered with simple messages and is intended to keep order and the common man working hard and not complaining. Here is an example, In the bible it teaches that the poor shall inherit the kingdom of heaven.  Translation, don't kill or even hate the rich but take pity on them and get back to your back break labors. This is awesome stuff if you are educated and rich, total mind control.


The bible is a great tool in my opinion for controlling a large mass of people.  Why use force or coercion when you can indoctrinate at birth in ways to behave and think?  Time and time again history has shown that If you want to conquer a people send in a christian teachers.

Religion and it's various texts are a very interesting but dangerous dogma.
I think that there's a "divine" source that bore such notions and on the other hand people who wanted to have supreme influence.
I personally prefer religious people who bear sanity(a few) over nihilists and casual atheists because former are spiritually stronger and assimilated intrinsic order.

On the bad side religion promotes OCDs and can be a potent enemy of joy and letting go... it's a fine line.

The worship of enlightenment and Lucifer is a way better option than following a mercyful, needy, totalitarian and jealous god.

Btw, the god of the Qurrrr'an is not the same as the god of the bible.

Good post! I think religious ppl often think they are happier and more content than atheists.
