There wasn't as much money in Bodybuilding back then.

I heard they got a 2 for 1 deal on the pants.

Golden age? -lol   The Golden age of BBing was in the 70's.

For me the pinnacle of modern BBing was when Wheeler won the '93 Arnold.  For the most part, it went down hill after that and huge GH guts became the norm.

I would say 95 Olympia. Who wasn't in that who was a great? Maybe Dillet (injured), Priest (disqualified came in 97). After Dorian retired we never saw anyone great except Cutler and now maybe Heath.

I won't argue with that... probably one of the last great Mr O lineups.  Dorian was good during his early Mr O victories, but got worse as the years went by... he lost symmetry and his gut increased substantially.  He should've retired MUCH earlier.  Dorian winning the Mr O with asymmetrical muscle tears was ludicrous.

Never was Cutler fan.  Heath is a narrow midget.

Not a Cutler fan. But no-one since that year compares to what we saw except maybe Cutler, Wolf, Heath, Dexter, but none are in that class. I picked 95 as Vince was there.
