Karma
« on: February 09, 2014, 02:32:31 PM »
In 2009 a co-worker at my office was making insensitive jokes about Patrick Swayze's thin appearance due to having pancreatic cancer.  Our accounts receivable gal warned him that making fun of other peoples health issues could result in karma coming back and biting him hard.  It did just that. In April of last year he himself was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and took a leave of absence to seek treatment.  I found out this morning that he passed away, as I stumbled upon his obituary in the Sunday news paper.  He was 46. Wife and two kids.   I don't personally believe in Karma, as I think it's just a coincidence, but still.. it was something that makes you think.

Glad to hear you dont believe in Karma because posting on here and gloating may not be the ideal move.

You best look up the definition of gloating, before you suggest what I posted above is gloating.

I stoped wishing bad things upon others as a lot of the thing i wished on others or made fun of others came back and the same things happened to me. It was too much of a coincidence so i stopped the bad shit.
