i think the seamaster is the only watch that I've always wanted buy have never owned. (if that makes sense.. lol.. every watch I've ever wanted, I've eventually owned at some point)... except an 18k rolex yachtmaster II with blue dial and white face, but after wearing it (the ym2) i realized i didn't like it, and would rather have an 18k pam or 18k submariner (in blue).

i could've gotten 3 tag's (grand Carrera, link and a Monaco) instead of the two uboat's... and regret doing that deal. I'm not a fan of the uboats anymore, and not a big fan of tag's, but they would've been more 'versatile' for daily wear.

if i had to choose one, it's the the PAM. the blackface iwc, 45mm seamaster planet ocean, and ss submariner are all a distant 2nd.

I actually picked up my seamaster for just under a grand. so about a fifth of the price of my pam, but I think I wear the omega more.
but, there is nothing quite as nice as going to a vegas pool party with PAM on rubber straps. Lots of looks.

omega's are super under valued IMO.

i have a rubber strap on my ss uboat flightdeck... i prefer leather. i'll probably never buy another rubber strap watch. lol.

buddy of mine runs an online pawnshop and ALWAYS has omegas. i don't get it.. ppl never really know the value of them. i had a client, young girl 30yrs old, who's husbands grandmother gave him an omega.... and they fucking donated it to a local thrift store! lol... they thought it was like a timex or Seiko or something. lol.. they had no idea till the worker said "are you sure you want to part with this?" and explained what it was. i told her I'd give her 8 free 1hour sessions for it and she agreed, until she googled it and found out what it was worth. lol... it was a speedmaster, btw... not a seamaster, but I'd still take it for that price. lol

Good watch tastes.

I have a seamaster that is about 5-6 years old (blue face) steel strap. Also my favourite watch is my 1950 Omega which is a 287 caliber or something, pure gold case and black leather strap - very understated
