King Conan.

Eats, Drinks and Fucks. And ages, better as an old man who looks like he was once something else.

Think Robert Baratheon like king.

He looked decent in the last terminator he acted in, how long ago was that? Maybe he'll muscle up with a bit of juice.

it can be done and be interesting, if it's something like Beowulf.  But they will have to focus on his last stand as a King.  Hollywood won't do it, so it will be fucked like Rambo still fighting 20 yr olds.

Good example. They can go the Beuwolf route if they want him fighting and agile. But they can also have him play a 60 year old Conan who rules.

Yep.  Imagine the once mighty Conan now a vulnerable older man with enemies all around him threatening his kingdom. How does a does a fierce warrior deal with his own aging? To psychological for Hollywood.  They will buddy him up with a "young" Conan who will be featured for most of the movie to guarantee the action keeps flowing. Probably a long lost son or some shit like that.

Arnold doesn't have the acting chops to play that type of role. Seriously, could you imagine him trying to play the deep thinker? Lol.

Sorry to bring Song of ice and fire up again but;

Would you say Robert Baratheon was a deep thinker or Aerys " the mad king " Targayrien?

King is a King. He has court, generals, etc.

Behold! The Majesty of KING CONAN!

Cannes is in full swing right now. That means projects that need a little nudge getting off the ground with extra funding are there seeking investors for the next big thing (it’s like Kickstarter, but you get to meet the people you’re pleading with for money).

And one of those films looking for help is King Conan, Arnie’s planned return to the franchise that made his greased-up biceps a thing.

The Arnold Fans spotted the promotional image below, which shows a grizzled Conan the monarch in a riff on a piece of art that was used for the 2000 DVD of Conan the Barbarian.

King Conan has been a project that many fans of the 1982 film have been hoping would come to fruition before star Arnold Schwarzenegger was too old to pick up a sword.

The 66-year-old actor has been in a string of not-so-great post-Governator roles, but it looks like his return to the Terminator franchise is a sign that he’s happy to be back where he’s loved. According to JoBlo, Universal Pictures would love to get Conan to go full warrior king following Terminator: Genesis, in King Conan with a script by World Trade Center writer Andrea Berloff.

My hope: that Schwarzenegger’s classic character nostalgia cavalcade gets us sequels to Commando and Predator.

The poster is being very optimistic in hoping that we’ll see King Conan in theaters by 2015.

Crom, I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it. But Crom, I continue to crush my enemas, and still my colon is impacted worse than the worst Stygian fudgepacker. Crom, you do not care for the troubles of men, still consider my one request. My prostate feels as big as a Cimmerian apple, and my piss dribbles out like a stuttering necromancer. Crom, stop laughing your sick, fucking ass off! Grant me a SHIT and PISS like I used to have in the days of high adventure! And if you do not listen, then the HELL with you!

I almost pissed my pants laughing, dude. Thanks.  ;D

Hope it's not as pathetic as the last Stallone Rocky disaster....

It would be lucky to be remotely as good.  Rocky Balboa was a good book end to the franchise.

About 40 (yes, 40!) years ago I read a Conan story written by either Robert E. Howard himself or Robert Jordan.  It was the final chapter of King Conan's life, if you will.  In it Conan, his wife now dead, abdicates his thrown to his son and sets out on one last adventure.  Lots of gratuitous sex and violence if memory serves and I enjoyed the book for what it was.

I suppose we'll just have to wait and see what the film brings to the table.  Both authors were masters of the genre.

AWESOME! :D fuck yeah. He will be an older and experienced Conan. This will be Arnie's masterpiece and will garner both actions fans and the critics praises.

Dont encourage this depressing whoore show
