chest/back width
« on: January 18, 2006, 12:25:21 AM »
My chest/back measurement is 41.5. It's so frustrating because I can't seem to make that measurement go up no matter what i do. any ideas? for chest i do incline db presses, flat db presses and bar dips. for chest i do deadlifts, barbell rows, cable rows, lat pulldowns, pull ups. one workout is deadlifts, barbell rows and cable rows. the other workout is wide grip pull ups, and a couple of the others. i alternate. my strength goes up but no results in chest/back circumference... depressing.

The depressing part is that you didn't list how many exercises, reps, sets and times a week that you train the chest/back and the rest of your body. Telling your height and bwt would help also. Didn't say if you wanted to gain or lose body fat while increasing the chest size. Eatin more would not be a option to choose unless you want the waist to measure more than the chest. Eating good quality foods, with-in limit's, and the time you eat them during a day can be important.

To me, the pec's and lat's respone quite well to a good exercise program and rather quickly. So if you want to give out some more information about your training than feel free to do so. A lot of guy's here would like to help you. Good Luck.

You can have fricken ronnie colemans routine and intensity for all I care but guess what.........you don't eat, your body don't build muscle.  It's not rocket science.

However, you do have one point......you eat twinkies you will have a bigger waiste size, you eat chicken.....you won't.....
