There are already tolls on I-95

You can not drive from DC to NYC on I-95 without paying tolls.

They used to be as far south as Richmond, VA, but they removed them back in the early 90s.

So this prohibition is a lie.

Anyone who wants to pay higher tolls thinking it will pay for roads etc - drive through NYC - we have highest tolls in the country and the roads are awful.

No i wasn't surprised.  I figured they were going to go up even though some on here were saying they weren't.  You know i was very suspicious of it from the start and questioned it often.
