Sugar Ray Leonard Vs Floyd Mayweather Sr 1978

SRL is 5'10, so Sr must be about 6'0.  Fight is at Jr weight, 147.

Jr doesn't fight Paul Williams (Hearns size) b/c Sr said he was too big but he is from an era of monster WW.

Enjoy the clown card tomorrow night.

Notes:

Keith Thurman is the interim champ, so he is the mandatory defense for Maidana's belt.  Now, FMW's people are saying he only cares about WBA belts, so he will most likely relinquish the belt at the end of the fight.  ::)

Manny is re-establised as #1 at 147.

If Lara survives Canelo, he is still #1 154.

Khan can't fight in Sept because of religious reasons.

Odds are FMW Jr will try to fight Lucas Matthysse (banging win of Molina and defend the honor of Maidana), moving him up to 147 and playing the Argentine angle.

What do you think would happen if Mayweather fought Thurman?
