Watched on iPad on plane. I've seen pumping Iron
a thousand times. Used to be obsessed w it as a kid. Saw this making of a couple times but not for many years. It's included on the DVD pumping iron.

That pic of branch holding that trophy is atrocious.

No one in their right mind would want to look like that.

There r a few scenes in the making if that drive the point home what's wrong w bb today.

A clip of herc n ny is shown. Arnie is about to throw a javelin. He walks to the track w a sailor beenie on n a blue work shirt w blue pants. His waist by today's standards looks like the waist of a woman. He takes off his shirt and his huge chest n shoulders taper down to nothingness at his waist. Incredible. There's another clip where he is being interviewed strolling down a path in campus I think. He's wearing his infamous ucla shirt. Huge chest n arms w no gut protruding past his chest.

People would love to look like this today!!

And arnie was off season here.

I'm 50 now. I remember an editorial in muscle Mag that bob Kennedy wrote must be 30 some years ago. He was bitching about pros showing up fat for guest posing. Wut a joke it is today. It made magazine news wen one person showed up fat for a showing. Now they all look like bloated pigs as the norm.  

These guys in the old days looked great man.
