There is nothing worse in this world than being a U.S. lawmaker forced to hold hands with other congressmen/women you hate, while singing “We Shall Overcome,” in the middle of a public ceremony.
Via C-SPAN comes this video of the Democratic and Republican leadership being forced to sing civil rights marching songs during today’s ceremony awarding Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King the Congressional Gold Medal.
