the guy was already jacked (he owns and runs the gym) beforehand, with a better physique than most getbiggers. why would getting a haircut, shave and suit make him suddenly up and walk out on his wife and family ?

now, if this were a slob couple, and suddenly one of them thinks 'fuck it', and starts to get into shape and cleans his or her self up. then i would totally agree with you. usually in that situation its the beginning of the end for that relationship.
