A "lawyer" is represrning a victim, unknown to her!
« on: July 26, 2014, 07:55:23 PM »
Dear Richard and Patti:

I wanted to say Thank You both for giving me a chance to have a place to stay with some stability, while I am rebuilding my life and trying to climb out of the financial hole I have fallen into. Without you both giving me a place to stay, I would still be locked in the impossible dilemma of trying to work enough to pay off some debts that are interfering with my life and ability to get a career off the ground, while having no place local enough to enjoy the basic comforts your home as provided me, such as a bed, storing my clothes/equipment, being able to take a shower and eat a cooked meal.  I am ve
ry appreciative for this, and I will never forget your assistance and generosity, when I really was at a low point.

The reality that your home has become more crowded now, is not lost on me. I will not allow myself to stay any longer than necessary, and hope I can rebuild my life as quickly as possible and stand on my own two feet. While I am in your home, I will do my best to not disturb anyone, keep everything I am using clean, replace anything I may use, and contribute to any jobs or chores that need to be done to keep an orderly household. Please, call my attention to anything I can do or help with. If there is anything needed of me, I am more than willing to help out any way I can.

I hope that there will come a day (soon!), when I am in a position to help either of you, or your family.  Gratitude is a strong value of mine, and I will all be grateful, appreciative, and in your debt.  If there is anything I can do now, or in the future, please do not hesitate to ask. It is not always easy for me to express my feelings or to talk freely about emotional topics, but I wanted to at least let you both know I do not take your generosity for granted and truly am deeply thankful for the opportunity you have gave me.

Thank you both for helping me out, and opening up your home,

youandme

I don't get it. Is that a lawyer thanking a couple for a place to stay while chained to student debt?
