Chelsea Manning. WTF ????????

I know this is old news, but I stopped following this along time ago, just found out Bradley Manning converted to a woman and changed his name to Chelsea.  WTF is this shit.

Is this serious or is this some type of PR bullshit or some twisted type of punishment.  Talk about bizarre and highly suspicious.



On August 22, 2013, the day after sentencing, Manning's attorney issued a press release to the Today show announcing that she is a female, and asked that she be referred to by her new name (Chelsea) and feminine pronouns:

"As I transition into this next phase of my life, I want everyone to know the real me. I am Chelsea Manning. I am a female. Given the way that I feel, and have felt since childhood, I want to begin hormone therapy as soon as possible. I hope that you will support me in this transition. I also request that, starting today, you refer to me by my new name and use the feminine pronoun (except in official mail to the confinement facility). I look forward to receiving letters from supporters and having the opportunity to write back"

the pic on the right is from long ago.  She has always considered herself transgendered, but only recently has asked permission to transition, to start on hormone therapy.  Even if she were not in prison, it would be many years before she had surgery.  While in prison, it may never happen.

You don't really believe this do you, sound fishy to all hell.  Odd time to come out, considering how much credibility he will lose.
